Kingdom Living

Our individual lives can go from lively and abundant to dry and uncertain while walking with God. That's because we live in spiritual seasons. Just like there are natural seasons (spring, fall, winter, and summer) there are spiritual ones we ALL live through. In Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 it says
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;..." Why have we never been taught something as simple as that? Because we live in a world that shuns the Lord's wisdom or word and believe it us that controls the way our lives flow; When that is not the case. We catch ourselves rushing to be out of our trials because we think that'll be our life forever or we don't take heed to what God is teaching us or how he's trying to prune us. People also don't embrace their struggles because they have an image to keep up with in this world and that right there may also be a reason why God allows a hardship to swarm a person's life due that mere pride there.
We catch ourselves trying to make summer clothes suit winter seasons when that's just not the season we're in. Just as much as nature doesn't rush seasons or when you attend school and there's a time and processing you have to go through before you graduate: It's literally the same with the spiritual seasons we will find ourselves stumbling in. Going through the seasons that feel tedious or demeaning doesn't have to be negative or isn't always for your detriment especially when you walk with God. The word encourages us in Timothy 2:3-5 to "Endure hardship - as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them. And athletes cannot win the prize unless they follow the rules."
One of my personal favorite verses is "Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness." James 1:2. No matter what we go through, We should always keep in the back our mind that "God works everything out for good". God is always in the midst of our highs and lows doing something but it's up to us to stop for a second and recognize what it is. Trials may seem damning to us but they're precious to God so never let anybody make you feel bad for where you're at or what you don't possess in the current moment. Comparison truly is a thief of Joy because somebody's highlighted moment in their harvest season always looks appealing but we forget, they too, have a season of quietness and stillness. Some may even have what they have now and not have it later (More say if its a person who did it out of God's will) so never get caught up in the next person's life and forget how blessed you are. Let's stop trying to rush our seasons and enjoy our processes. We don't even know when our time will be cut short yet we attempt to live out a whole life in a '25 year span" and that's starting from our birth to our current age(🤣).
Love where you are and continue to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness first so all things can be added to you.
God's process is SEED, TIME.... HARVEST! Take note of that.
