IDK How To Pray

Prayer is simply communicating/talking to God. Saying that you don't know how to pray is like saying you don't know how to talk or be yourself in conversations. God made each one of us in a unique manner. We were equipped with different voices and different ways of expressing ourselves to him. God does not expect us to come to him putting on a performance, sounding like robots, or praying the prayers of others - when that's not necessarily our needs or way of communicating. When you come to God go to him in reverence of course. However, be yourself! Let him know what it is, what you're feeling, what occurred that you didn't like, and etc. There may be times where u truly don't know what to say but even in prayer you can ask him "give me the words I need -- help me to become better or natural at praying."  A simple "God I don't know where to start but may you guide me as I communicate with you" or " Lord I come before you right now to just exalt your name and bring a request before you" or even " God I feel a whole mess and a half but first and foremost let me thank you" ... etc. It so many ways to go to God and every prayer isn't just for a need so those ones should sharpen u with the needy prayer requests.

You need to talk to God just as much as you talk to those in your household or your lover. You need to talk to God just as much as you clock into that job. You need to talk to God at every start of your day so that you can command your day. You need to talk to God throughout the day period. That's the only way you'll have a sharper prayer life, be more confident in praying, and be able to have lengthy convos with God as well rather than 2 minute prayers.

I encourage you to start practicing or writing prayers down and going to God with them. You do know how to pray and you always did. Don't get caught up in the religious act of praying rather than communicating with God because there's a RELATIONSHIP to maintain.
