God's spirit couldn't possibly be dwelling in those who delight in misery, stirs up strife, and are vulgar with their words. In today's culture, many are failing to be a true representative of Christ. Peoples attitudes, unbiblical--personal opinions, attachment to past trauma, and immature spirit get in the way of others truly seeing God through them (If they even are a true servant of God).

 

Let us not be apart of that crowd but continually choose to bear the fruits of the Spirit. The fruits of the spirit are love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. That's not to say change who you truly are or water down the truth but have the spirit of Love flowing through you. God is love and as a byproduct of really having love, you must really know God for yourself.

Real believers are a happy people, A people that think optimistically, A people that help others and tear down others, A people that knows in their spirit they will be good because they have God; so they are good to others, And simply a people that knows heaven and hell is watching so they can't afford to walk ignorantly.
